Bio Doug Lasit
Pastors Doug and Donna have served under Pastor Frank Damazio at Portland’s City Bible Church since 1995. As executive pastors in CBC they have been involved in building and developing one of the most respected congregations in America. Their experience, impact, and influence in the Northwest is recognized by pastors and churches worldwide and has prepared them to launch the Pearl Church in Denver this fall, in cooperation with CBC. Donna is a missionary kid from Kampala Uganda and a graduate from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Music. Doug was born in Honolulu Hawaii, raised in Portland Oregon, and has a Masters in Biblical Theology from Oral Roberts University.
Doug and Donna Lasit are considered to be two of the most respected youth pastors in America. For the past 15 years they have been pastoring Generation Church in Portland Oregon, a youth ministry that gathers more than 1000 youth and young adults weekly on
four different campuses in the Portland Metro region. They are the leaders and founders of Generation Unleashed, a youth conference drawing more than 8000 youth, young adults, youth pastors and leaders from across the United States to Portland each year. Generation Unleashed is considered by many to be the premier youth conference in America today. They have been featured in Charisma Magazine, Ministries Today, Worship Leader Magazine, and scores of other publications in the last two years. Pastor Doug Lasit is one of the nation’s most respected young leaders and relevant equippers in the church today. He is a sought after speaker for churches and conferences worldwide.
One distinguishing mark of the Lasit’s ministry is the impact that they have had on the worship landscape in the Northwest for the last 10 years. Pastor Doug discovered early in his ministry that worship and youth are dynamic together. Donna Lasit emerged in 2000 as one of the Northwest’s most sought after next generation worship leaders after Hillsong Australia recorded one of Donna’s very first songs “Believe” live in Sydney for the “For this Cause” album. Since then worship leaders worldwide under labels like Maranatha Records, Integrity Music, and others have recorded her songs in several languages.
The Pearl Church is a reflection of the years of ministry, experience, depth, and passion that Pastor Doug & Donna have now brought from Portland to Denver.
Bio Sir Walter Scott
Sir Walter Scott, III is a vibrant young individual with an extraordinary ability to deliver truth with a relevant perspective. As an Army “BRAT” (Born and Raised with Army Tutelage) and Mass Communications graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, Sir Walter‘s experience of culturally connecting to the masses is a God-given ability.
This gift to bridge cultures has afforded him multiple opportunities to teach, motivate and inspire men, women, boys and girls both locally and internationally. Within the Richmond, Virginia community, he’s served as a coordinator for March for Jesus/Jesus Day rallies, a participant in the Hearts United in Praise Community-Wide service, and as a motivational speaker for Richmond’s inner-city schools and juvenile detention centers. In addition he has participated or had a hand in other community events.
Sir Walter possesses over 10 years of youth, college, and young adult ministry service, and he currently serves, full-time, as the Youth Pastor at Mt. Gilead Full Gospel International Ministries and as the State Youth Director of Virginia in the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship. He is happily married to the lovely Patience Scott and they are the proud parents of their beautiful daughter, Victoria.
Bio Patrick Kiteley
In April 2008 Patrick and Marlena became the Senior Pastors of Shiloh Church in Oakland, CA, a congregation of over 4000 people from over 40 nations. They represent the 4th generation of the Kiteley family to lead Shiloh Church in its 43-year history. With a prophetic message of restoration, hope and healing Patrick is a beloved speaker all over the world. He is the author of the book, What Have I Done To You? Patrick and Marlena have two children.
Bio Jonathan Stells
Jonathan was born in Richmond, VA. His parents were pastors at a church they had planted in the area and he had the privilege to be raised in a godly, local church environment that was based upon love and the Word of God. He heard the call of God at a very young age and serve in different capacities within the church as he grew.
He later had the desire to become educated and equipped so he went on to attend The Jepson School of Leadership Studies at The University of Richmond. Later, he went on to attend Oral Roberts University’s Graduate School of Theology, believing that there always needs to be a mindset of perpetual learning. Jonathan and his wife of almost 8 years, Ami, have been serving as Children’s Pastors for several years. They have recently been entrusted with overseeing and pastoring everyone in the age group of Newborn-25 at their local church, The House of Prayer, located in Chesterfield, VA.
He and Ami have ministered on several different continents and have a heart for all people not only on this continent, but on many. Jonathan and Ami are the proud parents of two children, Colin, who is five, and Isabella, who is a newborn. Their greatest desire is to see people impacted with the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
